Haggen Food & Pharmacy presents The Fifth Annual Hamster Ball benefitting Cascade Connections on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5:30pm to 10:30pm at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. Hamster Ball is an elegant and fabulous evening of food, drinks, music, and community. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a dinner provided by Haggen Market Street Catering, and drinks from a variety of local businesses, live music by The Penny Stinkers, and an exciting silent auction.
Hamster Ball is a 21+ event.

Annual Trick or Treat at the Fountainđ

Families are invited to participate in the second annual Trick or Treat at the Fountain on Thursday, October 31 from 2:30-5:30pm. Local businesses and organizations in the Fountain District will hand out goodies and offer up fun activities to kids and their families.
Free trick-or-treating supplies and a list of participating businesses is available at SaviBank on the corner of Broadway and Girard. The festivities will end at 122 West Brewing with food, beverages, and family-friendly activities.

Come one, come all to the 5th annual Nightmare on Railroad in the Boundary Bay Brewery Fear Garden! The brewery warehouse and beer garden will be transformed into spooky scenes filled with ghosts, ghouls, and surprises at every turn. This Halloween event is all-ages and features BAAYâs Haunted Dancers.
From 9:00-11:00 p.m., the event becomes 21+ only, with more mature content. On October 31 from 3:00-5:00 PM to coincide with the downtown trick-or-treat event, the Fear Garden will be open without actors or dancers, with free admission for families who wish to attend a more family-friendly version for younger children.
This is a fundraiser event, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth student scholarship fund. For more event information, email hauntedhouse@baay.org

This October Swim Club will be doing a Halloween pop-up bar! Starting on the 15th it will transform into Spirit Club, a ghoulish dark-lit haven with some tricks, but mostly treats. Chef Todd Alan Martin has created a dinner menu inspired by various horror films including âThe Silence Of The Lambsâ with roasted lamb, herbed fava beans and âa nice chiantiâ beurre rouge.
Dennis Schafer has put together a cocktail menu including âMaggieâs Ghostâ with habanero infused cachaca, lime, curacao and celery salt also featuring the âDavy Jones Lockerâ with Fernet Branca, aged rum, grapefruit, cinnamon and lime, and many more on theme delights. Get ready to drink your cocktails out of skulls and halloween themed glassware, this is a fully immersive experience.

Before RuPaulâs Drag Race or even Paris Is Burning this newly restored, pre-Stonewall film documented 1967âs Miss All-America Camp Beauty Pageant, a drag competition that introduces us to those who would become pioneers of the LGBTQ+ movement just a few short years later.
Presented as part of Pickford Film Center‘s LGBT+ film series The Queensâ Vernacular, with introduction by series curators Chris Vargas and Greg Youmans. Drag attire welcome!
