Barkley Village Concert on The Green🎤

Join Barkley Village and Haggen Food & Pharmacy on August 17th for the second annual Barkley Village Concert On The Green featuring live music from Baby Cakes and Petty Or Not with all proceeds benefiting Lydia Place.

Bring your blankets or chairs to the park and enjoy a cold beer, wine, or cider from Twin Sisters Brewing Company and some delicious food from Jalapenos Family Mexican Restaurant, Chow Gourmet Hot Dogs, Sage Against The Machine 360 and the Sugar Shack Ice Cream Truck.

This concert is an all ages fundraiser for Lydia Place with limited tickets available so get them while you can by purchasing tickets in advance at

Entertainment by Azara Tribal Bellydance followed by 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU on the big screen at dusk. Presented by Ben Kinney & Keller Williams Realty. Bring blankets for the grass or low back lawn chairs for limited seating on brick areas. Popcorn and food will be available for purchase.

Step back in Time with historical demonstrations, free kids events, pirates, fairies, Vikings and even the Scottish Court!
Be knighted by the queen, throw spears, axes and knives, shoot arrows, participate in combat archery, play foam swords, and participate in Willhelm’s interactive shield wall.
Kids lay seige to the bouncy castle, make a sword and shield, get your face painted, fly with the balloon fairies and fend off Wotan the Fairysmasher!

Be entertained by belly dancers, dazzled by Melvin’s Marvels, enjoy harp and stringed trio. sword fighting by EMP and SCA and Saturday at 5 pm witness a medieval wedding!

Saturday is historical day and Sunday is Fantasy Character day! Join in costume as Playtrons of the Faire!

Bellingham’s favorite music festival is back! Get pumped for Downtown Sounds – a serious of free, outdoor concerts for the entire family. Each night features performances by popular bands, intermission entertainment, local food vendors, a beer & wine garden, all-ages Family Alley, and more! This summer will mark 15 years of the ever-growing event, firmly cementing its place in Whatcom County’s biggest summer attraction.

2019 Bellingham Pride Parade🏳️‍🌈

Bellingham Pride has grown to become the second largest pride event in Washington State. Through local support and activism, Bellingham Pride has been able to organize festivals, parades, youth events, and various other outreach activities which now host over 10,000 participants annually.

Come out and celebrate the diversity of human life, promote equal rights, increase the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community, and have fun doing it. We hope to see you there!

Camp Out to End Family Homelessness ⛺️

The Camp Out to End Family Homelessness is a FUNdraiser, an upbeat event open to everyone–individuals, families, youth groups, and more.

Family-friendly festivities include live music showcasing the fantastic The Sweet Goodbyes, with Amber Darland and Lisa Harmon and sing-alongs with local musicians. There will be games, skits, and a s’mores bar. Prizes will be awarded to champion fundraisers.

Bring a chair and a blanket for dining and singing around the “campfire.” Once the festivities end, campers can spend the night sleeping in their vehicles or tents.
